Kitchener, Waterloo , Ontario, Canada September 18, 2011 Size: roughly 1.5 inches long
I found two of these caterpillars on goldenrod. I have looked through my entire Princeton field guide to Caterpillars of N. American but am unable to identify it. I'm hoping for an identification, but also, can anyone tell me if those are wasp eggs on the caterpillar? (the small white things)
