Just wanted to share the beauty of nature--it was such a thrill to see one of these magnificent creatures! I believe it's nectaring on Venus' Looking Glass.

Lovely, moved to guide
Great photos. I've moved them to the guide page for the species. You can post images directly there. (Sometimes they are a bit hard to find--one can search on the genus name--that is the most reliable.)

Thanks
Thanks Patrick, but I'd rather you had left them on the ID page a little while where others might see them. I really wanted to share their beauty with the rest of the BugGuiders rather than bury them immediately on the guide page where only people seeking that particular species might find them. :-(

Don't worry about being seen -
most regular users use Recent rather than ID Request to see what's been posted lately. There's a bit of concern right now about things being buried in ID Request, which is filling up very fast, and several editors are working hard to keep things moving into the guide, so it's helpful if regular contributors post straight to the guide when the ID is not in question.

Lovely photos - and a really nice addition to the guide!

Thanks for the tip!
I haven't used the "recent" feature--thanks for the tip!

I certainly agree about the traffic congestion on the ID request page. It's exciting so many people interested in bugs!
