Photographed in a dry sandy stretch of powerline cut during one of the field trips of the DSA northeast regional meeting. We were just passing through en route to and from a little bog to see dragonflies and pitcher plants, but I had to stop to photograph a few dipterans. In a related note, I was the last one back to where we parked.
