... in proportions of segments of first leg. Don't believe it is Xylotopus. Which leads me to the Polypedium group of the Chironomini. (Thought process here.)

Now that I am in the Polypedium group, I trust that some kind dipterist will bring me fully perfected, into the light of a positive ID of this beautiful animal.
