Identification
about the size or a little smaller than Osmia pumila
Range
Northeast. Newly established Old World bee. It has been collected in MA, NY, & NJ and is suspected to have spread to neighboring states.
Habitat
They frequent Centaurea and other Asteraceae.
Food

Life Cycle
They nest in hollow stems and build cottony partitions between cells.
