Your identification is correct
It may well be the same inidividual, as the notches in the edge pf the wings are the same (an unlikely coincidence); however, the second shot shows additional notches. The males are highly mobile, but the females do tend to remain in the same area (usually in the meadows where their larval host Violets grow).
