Unidentified Micromoth - Oegoconia novimundi

Unidentified Micromoth - Oegoconia novimundi
Encino, Los Angeles County, California, USA
June 15, 2006
Size: 1/4 inch
Resting on a Camellia leaf in my backyard in the early-mid evening.

Moved
Moved from Oegoconia to species page. There's only one species of Oegoconia in North America, and this looks like it.

I think I know
Try Oegoconia quadripuncta. I found one last night and managed to find a pretty good match to this species. If you get it identified, let me know

It sure looks like it to me.
Thanks! I think all of our moth experts are busy or travelling right now, so it may be a while before we get an ID
