Longhorn Beetle -
Brachyleptura rubrica
Capron, Boone County, Illinois, USA
June 15, 2006
Size: 3/4 inch
This beetle was wandering about a large grape leaf. It appeared to be laying eggs in the leaf but I'm not sure.

Moved to guide
