Wahkiakum Syrphid - Sphaerophoria

Wahkiakum Syrphid - Sphaerophoria

Sphaerphoria
Sphaerophoria .... females.
This is not contigua as the yellow side stripes are continuous to postalar callus (less obvious on scutum after transverse suture but still continuous). On tergite 5 in these females, the markings are like hammerheads toward middle of tergite, wider at middle of tergite, whereas contigua has the markings usually narrowing but at least not widening at middle of tergite.
