Spider - Eustala anastera

Spider - Eustala anastera
Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, USA
September 29, 2011
Size: approx. 8-10 mm
7 pm in my yard. Web suspended between two small magnolia trees at a height of approx. 6-7'.

Moved
Moved from anastera / cepina . Good point made below, it has two dark posterior spots, so this is very likely anastera.

Moved from Eustala. Your size suggests anastera, but we aren't seeing the upturned abdomen so we can't be sure it's not cepina.

Looks like we might see
the dark spot on lateral posterior??

Ventral view?
We're thinking this might be E. anastera. Did you take a side or ventral view?

no
sorry
