Petalium whitei

Petalium whitei
Medford, (~25 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
June 18, 2011
Size: 1.8mm
after a whole lot of time with the keys and descriptions, including Ford's paper on the genus, I believe this (and several others from the same night) is P. debile Fall. Corrections welcome :)

came to UV light

ok, thanks Brad.

Moved from Petalium debile.

may also be small P. whitei

i actually like P. whitei for this one
Note the deep incised sulcus that appears to extend beyond the anterior perforation. Also see the notes on the two species in Arango & Young 2012 (1)

looking at this again
I wonder whether this is something else. The punctures are distinct the whole length of the elytra. In debile/whitei they are only supposed to be prominent on the anterior 1/3 to 1/2. Maybe seriatum or alaseriatum?
