Willowsia platani
After comparing your picture with those of Domingo Zungri, it turns out to be matching quite well with Willowsia platani. Which is a new species for the USA!
Sorry for any inconveniences caused...

Any possibility this might actually be Seira?
Frans, this particular specimen looked a bit different than the other W. platani on the page and it got me wondering whether there was any chance it might be this undescribed Seira species:

Your thoughts?

Indeed
It matches better with the new Seira. Good point.

Placement uncertain--to me
As I don't see a definite ID in previous posts, I'll leave it to the experts to move this image or not.

It is Seira sp.13 Janssens F & Gros P, 2015

Moved from Springtails and allies. Dr. Janssens, I had only two photos of this, and the other photo was no better. A better camera would be needed.

Lepidocyrtus sp.
More pics are needed to verify this tentative determination.
