Size: .2 inch ish
On the edge of a pond. She has an egg mass tucked under her wing covers.

A bit difficult to discern...
but I'm almost certain this is Helochares maculicollis. Straight-on dorsal and ventral views are important for hydrophilids and other water beetles.
