Size: approx. 1 inch
The closest I could get to this moth is a Four-spotted Ghost Moth, using this ID site, not sure if it is that or a another closely related species. Thank you.

Hi Ken, I photographed it at my home in Courtenay, Vancouver Island, BC. It was on my patio door, may have neen attracted by my my patio light during the night and was resting like that in the day. It wwas during summer of 2009. I have not seen it before.
