Strange pinkish orange grub with black spots. - Arge

Size: about 3/4"
There were several of these things dangling off the leaves of a tree, writhing their bodies to and fro. I thought for sure that a "pink larva" would be so easy to find and identify on Google or any insect identification site.

Looks like the larva of a sawfly

That is exactly what it is :)
In Argidae. Not sure what genus, Arge seems likely.
