Size: Approx. two inches long
See all three images. Specimen was feeding on Painted Leaf plant. Possibly some variety of sphynx moth? I found a very similar specimen online, but it didn't have the tail horn. Help please.

Thanks. Ello Sphynx is the similar specimen I found online (seen here), but Ello Sphynx doesn't seem to have the tail horn. Would something as distinctive as a horn vary between individuals in a species?

 
I think that as the caterpillar grows,
the horn shrinks. It is likely that yours is a younger caterpillar so it still has a long horn.
