Carpelimus obliquus

Carpelimus obliquus
California, USA
Carpelimus obliquus (Casey, 1889)
- western species, only half a specimen is known (missing the abdomen) from California: Lake Tahoe. The characteristic built of the pronotal side makes it very distinctive. From Vancouver I have seen specimens of a similar species, but I believe it is not the same (seems to be smaller, shorter temples, etc.). More material is needed to confirm this.
