Springtail - Seira bipunctata

Springtail - Seira bipunctata
Montrose, Laurens County, Georgia, USA
October 8, 2011
Size: 1.5-2 mm
Found on the back porch around mid-night. If this little bugger hadn't slid across my vision out in the light against a white background, I would never have seen it. As it was, this is the only shot I got. It never came out for an encore. I am fairly certain this is an Elongate-bodied Springtail of the Entomobryidae family, but which genus or species, I can't say....

Well done, Jon. And quite close, Ken! ;-)

Wild guess alert...
Having looked around a bit, I wonder if it might be something in/near Seira?

I'll be interested in finding out if I'm anywhere close. :)
