What species of hoverfly is this? - Allograpta exotica

I've never seen this hoverfly in the area before. It appears that the stripes don't break anywhere on the abdomen although it's hard to tell in this image. This is the only shot I got before it flew away. This fly is on a rose leaf.

White face with black stripe distinguishes this species from the far more common A. obliqua.
