. From Rod Crawford: Yes, it is certainly a male Erigone but a lateral view of the palp (with the tibia and patella not obstructed by legs) would be needed to begin to narrow down the species. For some species we need to see the inner side of the palpal bulb from a very specific angle.

Yes, I agree that it could be an
Erigone
sp. I asked Don Buckle about a similar specimen from Alberta a couple of months ago, and he said the teeth around the outer edge of the carapace are a feature of that genus. Also, look for
"Palpal patella with ventral apical apophysis longer than width of segment,"
as described in
Spiders of North America
, p. 143.
