Possibly associated with stems of Ipomoea and related plants.

Remarks
Known in US from 10 records: 2 OSUC, 2 USNM, 1 TAMUIC. 4 BG data, 1 iNat data
under-reported south of the border as it is usually unidentified and sorted in with non-tenebrionid taxa. (M. Ivie, pers. comm. 2011)
