Royal Moth - Syssphinx albolineata - female

Royal Moth - Syssphinx albolineata - Female
Sabal Palm Sanctuary, Cameron County, Texas, USA
October 15, 2011
Size: 38mm
While working a bit late out at Sabal Palm Sanctuary I decided to hang up a black light to see what might pop up. Shortly after it was hung this beautiful Syssphinx showed up. Would anyone know the species? I cannot seem to make it match any of the species currently listed here on Bug Guide but believe it to be Syssphinx albolineata?

Thank you for the help!

Photographed for the Meet Your Neighbours project.

Sphingicampa albolineata
This certainly looks like Sphingicampa albolineata (Syssphinx albolineata is synonym I believe), but wait for a better confirmation, as this is a first for BugGuide. Gorgeous moth and photos, and excellent find!

Yes
This is a female Syssphinx albolineata, very nice photos. These are a great addition to the guide.
