Teeny Tiny Bug - Tyrophagus

Teeny Tiny Bug - Tyrophagus
Creighton, Northern, Saskatchewan, Canada
October 17, 2011
Size: < 0.5mm

I put a ruler up against the crack and took a photo to show their actual size. The distance between the 2 dark lines is 1mm. Could this be Neatus larva? or...??

I don't think it's an insect
Due to its size and the lack of any visible segmentation of the body, it's probably some kind of a mite- my best guess is something like Tyrophagus:

Chuck!
