Hatchlings -
Siphanta acuta
Alameda County, California, USA
October 17, 2011
I kept a piece of the leaf in a room that approximates outdoor temperatures. The eggs hatched today. Even at this size, the nymphs are prodigious leapers. They can clear several inches in a jump.
