Size: L = 22 mm
This queen was found on Thermopsis divaricarpa - Golden Pea.
The center of the 2thx and of the T1 and basal margin of T2 are hairless or nearly so.
L.W.Macior (1974) found B. rufocinctus at elevations of 1830-3970 m (5500-12000 ft).
P.A.Byron found it at elevations of 5000-7500 ft.
B.rufocinctus is highly variable and often much darker and most confusing.
