on tree trunk at edge of woods; poor photo but I'm wondering whether it's identifiable and different than my previous post of Epiphragma fasciapennis

Yes, it is idntifiable.
It is a Limonia (Discobola) annulata . Single species of this subgenus in North America. - Chen
