"painted" moth - Cerma cerintha

Size: 1/2"
Saw this pretty little thing on the white wall outside - looked like he was splashed with paint. I think the photo shows more color than he really has, but will chill him to get better pics and take a peek at its hind wing.

Any ideas? Maybe Cossidae?
