I thought it was a modest sphinx, but I was wrong...it is a Twin-spotted Sphinx--Smerinthus jamaicensis...I found it on my dirty car the other night

These images look familiar
Didn't you just post these recently? If so, we would point out that you can save yourself a lot of work in situations such as this. Simply click on EDIT on your images and you can change anything you like about your submission, even the image itself!! Don't DELETE and then repost. It breaks any links made to your images and loses all those precious comments. Just Edit. We all make mistakes, it's fine. That's how the rest of us learn! :)
