It's about 3/4" Found it close to woods on meadow. Please help me id it. Thanks Charles

Rhubarb weevil
This is either the rhubarb weevil, Lixus concavus, or something else in the genus Lixus. The orange bloom rubs off easily, so it is difficult to identify species once individual beetles have aged.
