Small Moth - Caloptilia stigmatella

Small Moth - Caloptilia stigmatella
Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
September 8, 2011
The surface the moth is on is the screen from my screen door for a size perspective.

Caloptilia stigmatella - Hodges #0639
Moved from ID Request.

Your photo adds Washington to the growing Bug Guide collection.
Thanks!

Measure
You can count the number of wires (I would say 6) and measure that distance to estimate the size and put that information on the data field for size. That is what I usually do. It is more helpful to others; screens vary in size.
