Paralyzed Prey, Pitiful Prisoner of Predation

Paralyzed Prey, Pitiful Prisoner of Predation
Big Cypress Preserve, Collier County, Florida, USA
October 31, 2011
A Sphex ichneumoneus had put her victim aside for a moment and went down into the burrow for one final check. Anyone recognize this paralyzed Ortho, soon to be preyed upon by wasp larva?

Since I was going to send a reply anyway, I went ahead and moved
I think that this would be easy to identify if there was more reference available for nymphs, and perhaps it will get identified at least to genus. Fingers are crossed that some clues will come along (or somebody who already knows them well).

Moved from Grasshoppers, Crickets, Katydids.

Looks like a Conehead Katydid nymph
probably genus Neoconocephalus, perhaps Bucrates. If you have a photo that shows the head in profile, it might be possible to tell the genus for sure. This one looks quite young to me, so I'm not sure if it will be possible to tell the species or not.

No lateral view
Alas, this was the only shot that didn't have the wasp blocking the view. Shall I move it to tribe level?

Pretty picture of apterous orthopteran
- perhaps personal opinion
