Lepidoptera unless it's not - Megalographa biloba

Lepidoptera unless it's not - Megalographa biloba
Somervell County, Texas, USA
November 8, 2011
Size: 3/4 inch long
I was photographing other things on the Cowpen Daisy and just shot this casually when I noticed it. I was thinking skipper at the time, but when I looked at image closely (this is a significant crop from the original) it didn't really look like one. Maybe more like a moth. Or even a bug.

Note striped antenna lying beside head. The stripes are skipper-like, but no clubs.
