Blue-winged Grasshopper - Trimerotropis cyaneipennis

Blue-winged Grasshopper - Trimerotropis cyaneipennis
Sandia Mountains, Cibola National Forest, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
October 15, 1997

a "Blue-winged Grasshopper"
Though, in the Sandias they more often have green wings. I'm not certain of the gender. Proportions look male, except that abdomen looks rather long and fat for a male.

Moved from Grasshoppers.
