Possible syrphid - Blera confusa

Possible syrphid - Blera confusa
Larose Forest, United Counties of Prescott-Russell, Ontario, Canada
May 20, 2011
I was able to get only one photograph of this fly before it flew off. I thought it was an Eristalis sp., and possibly E. arbustorum, but now, looking at various images of all the Eristalis species, I am not so sure. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
