Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge east of Roswell., Chaves County, New Mexico, USA

Size: Ca 4 cm
Spider wasp nectaring on Asclepias subverticillata; elevation 4,020 ft. A good pollinator. Notice the orange milkweed pollen sacks (pollinia) on the tarsi.
