Amara species
There's not enough detail in these photographs to be able to distinguish identify this specimen. A key character is how many (one, two, or three) pre-apical setae/punctures there are on the elytron. Without being able to see this, there are too many possibilities to be able to determine which species this specimen is.

Can you tell whether the spur on the front tibiae is trifid or not? See
for an example. I can't decide from your image whether it is or not.

Yes
It's not trifid (if it was, the number of species possibilities would have been very much reduced).
As it is, there are a number of species this could be, and I am not sure if it can be determined from photographs. (Seems to be about 25 species reported from NB).
