elongate big-eyed prognathous beetle - Trogoxylon parallelipipedum

Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
June 23, 2006
Size: 3.2 mm
Pulled off my drenched mo*th sheet/UV lights setup on rainy night. This beetle has familiar elements but a strange combination of elements. I have yet to go thumbing through my books hoping to see something similar, but I don't recall anything like it from prior thumbings-through.

Bostrichidae: Lyctinae
A lyctine species. The Lyctidae are now part of the Bostrichidae.

Thank you, Don.
Using AB key, this appears to be in genus Trogoxylon, of which the UNH checklist has only one species: Trogoxylon parallelopipedum. Further, this one is a close match to the drawing of the species in American Beetles.
