Even though I know this beauty I think the pic can be useful. This brings me back to childhood cuaght my first one at 9years old something magical about its song. Collected on a young birch tree.

Moved from ID Request. At first glance I thought that golden patch on the head might indicate O. exclamationis, but those wide wings match O. fultoni. I'm finding the color on O. fultoni's head does seem to vary from deep orange to golden.

Hi Nancy;-)
Interesting my usual encounters with O.fultoni are very light patches, on this one patch was unusually darker gold. His song also comfirmed O.fultoni.Photographed in terrarium thrived for 9weeks.
Always nice to hear your feedback thank you.
