Hmmm...
...according to Evenhuis (2006)(1) three species of Proceroplatus are present in the Nearctic region. P. stonei is easily ruled out by different shape of gonostylus. From the two remaining species I am not aware of any well illustrations of their genitalia. Using the old key of Johannsen: it keys out at P. elegans, but id is solely based on different coloration. Taking this and the distribution into consideraton I would tentatively assign this species to P. elegans (Coquillett, 1895).
