Range
most of the se. US, with two county records from OH(1) and localities in NY & MA(2); widespread throughout the Caribbean(1)
in Florida, by far the most abundant Heterocerus(1)
Habitat
known from a variety of habitats and appears to be most common in coastal areas in the Southeast (1)
