I actually just found one of these in mobile county too, just yesterday (nov 21st). I had guessed it was a valenzuela but wasn't sure, good to know I was right though :) thanks for all the pictures you upload, we really need someone like you from mobile documenting our insects. you're doing good work keep it up!

Psocids are one of my favs. Because of my psocids, I have garnered the attention of Dr. Mockford, the North American psocid guru. I am most fortunate to be able to spend time with him, in the field.



The male valenzuelas have bulging, black eyes. The females, orange. BTW it's good knowing another bug hunter from Mobile :)
