Identification

Original description is online in PDF. (1)

Creamy white forewing has a narrow brown streak along the basal third of the costa. A basal streak extends nearly one-third of forewing length. A broader diagonal patch extends from costa to tornus being widest at the costa. Hindwings are grayish brown. Legs are grayish brown. (2)

Type locality: USA: California, Alameda County. (2)

Food

Larry and Jon Turner reared the species on Madia gracilis (Sm.) D.D. Keck (grassy tarweed)
