Wasp - Andricus quercuscalifornicus

Wasp - Andricus quercuscalifornicus
Elkton, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
July 2, 2011
Found the oak apple on July 2, 2011. October 26, 2011 the first wasp emerged. Five days later, October 31, two additional wasps emerged. One was covered in what appears to be fungus/mold. Its emerge-mate appears in better shape, but may have the beginnings of fungus/mold.
