May not be B. pugnax..Epler mentions that there a number of species outside FL with similar elytral apices but with differently shaped abdominal emarginations. Best to get the males (if you have any) to resolve this issue-the aedeagus usually takes care of most ID problems in this genus...I would recommend Van Tassell's 1966 monograph but it's a PhD dissertation and I don't think she published it(don't have a copy myself).

 
Unfortunate they are both singular females
and I have no males. I saw the same comment about similar species in Epler, and I figured it wasn't pugnax but a similar more western species. I couldn't find her dissertation online either, and there are probably some unpublished names in it.

I hope this genus gets a good work-over soon. :)
