Large Moth - Pygarctia
San Pedro River Valley, SE of San Manuel, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
July 17, 2011
Size: approx 25 mm
Comes to light, Sonoran desert area with many creosotes, elev 2800 feet, many Cargida pyrrha nearby with similar abdomen, but the wings here are without profuse setae. The other image may not be the same individual, but at same time and place.
