I think another female. Came to the light at night.

Moved
Moved from Chrysops.

Could be flavidus
If I run it through the key to the Chrysops flavidus species group it comes out at flavidus. It looks too dark, and the middle stripe on the thorax too wide. Do you have another angle on the top of the thorax, and can you confirm that the hind femur is nearly uniformly dark yellow / pale brown?

See page 175 at http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/54810 if you want to try yourself.

Thanks
I'll try the key later. I loaded a couple of more images. I think part of the problem is white-balance under porch lights at night and various amounts of flash. (note 4 shades of blue)
