I suspect this to be Diphyus provancheri (Cushman), but I do not have a female of that species in my collection. Given the date of collection and the fact that this female looks pristine, I would assume that this individual would soon be going into hibernation. Evidently, provancheri hasn't been collected in hibernation, but Heinrich (1961) said: "Females hibernate as adults as proven by their appearance in early spring."
