Large Black Weevil - Cactophagus spinolae

Large Black Weevil - Cactophagus spinolae
S of San Manuel, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
August 10, 2011
Size: approx 18 mm
Feeding on Fishhook Barrel Cactus (Ferocactus wislinzeni) in Sonoran Desert, elev. 3400 feet; I would guess that it is one of Cactophagus spinolae validus, Scyphophorus yucca, or a Sisal Weevil (Scyphophorus acupunctatus), but I can't tell them apart.
