In their revision, Townes & Townes (1962) said that the collecting dates distribute rather evenly between mid-spring and mid-fall, and the latest dates of collection they recorded were November 3 at Great Falls, Virginia, and November 4 at Poltimore, Quebec.

Moved from Ichneumon Wasps.

Nice! Thanks you
Bob, can you give me a couple characters that brings you to this species. . .so many look a like. Is it the white dot on the last abdominal segment? LOL. Thanks! Kenny

Characters
Insofar as the comparison between Brachypterus females of Agrothereutes abbreviator and Pleolophus indistinctus are are concerned, in abbreviator the head (especially the temple) is much less robust; the legs, the flagellum, and the petiole are less stout; in addition, the petiole is mostly ferruginous.

Thank you
Very much Bob!! K.
