This moth was in coniferous forests/rocky mountains near Yellowstone National Park.

Maury was correct the first time. Notice that the sharp-black patch between the reniform spot and the median band is missing or obscured. More details can be found on the info pages.

Hindwing color fits
Drasteria hudsonica
but could be worn and the shape of the antemedian band appear more like
D. adumbrata
. Tough call from this photo. Probably best left at genus level.
